Although this is an old post (I mean 2011 was like ages ago right?!?!) it is a great little post to direct your clients to if they would like to do their own SEO. Not only does it explain to them that it is a long, ongoing process that needs to be regularly chipped away at but that they also need to be patient (saves you trying to justify yourself and your skills). It also goes through essentials to set-up and start SEO at which point they will probably give up and pay you to do their SEO! Perfect!
