I see so many business owners saying things like “…. oh it’s so hard to find new customers, and when I do, they’re all tyre kickers, and time wasters and have no money anyway…”
And I’m usually like; no you’re the tyre kicker, you’re the time waster.
… Get yourself together and commit 100% of your time, into finding your ideal customer, that is going to move your business forward (and you in the process).
And when you help them win.
… You win too.
And when you can do this on demand.
… The world is yours for the taking.
^^^
(This is the secret formula, everyone is searching for. Take note).
So let’s think about this for a second …
Every minute, of every day, in just about every single niche (industry), someone is more than likely looking for what you’re selling.
You just need to show up, at the right place, at the right time with the best offer.
And even when people are not ready to buy ‘right now’ they can still be lead through a funnel or persuaded to eventually buy from you in 2-3 weeks.
… Here are some real-life examples:
1.) Someone’s always looking for a new accountant. (because many businesses financials are in a mess, even at the best of times).
2.) Someone’s always looking for a plumber (every homeowner would have at least one thing a plumber could with right?).
3.) Someone’s always looking for a new marketing person. (because every business on the planet, could always be marketed better: yes?).
4.) Someone’s always worrying about something so a new psychologist or counselor could be in order?
5.) Someone’s always looking for a physio (because most people are sore from something or other!).
That’s just five examples, I could probably list hundreds.

… But what do most business owners do, that supply those services?
* They sit.
* They wait.
* They hope.
… And nothing happens.
Or they get lucky and whilst they are in the ‘barely surviving mode’ where the money comes in, money goes out, and it’s ‘let’s survive to next week’ – every… single… week…
But they have no predictability as to the flow of customers they are are going to be dealing with.
This is no way to live, and it’s no way to run your business.
… And most are in this situation because their mindset goes a little something like this:
“I’m just going to sit in facebook groups, waiting for someone to sing out “oh I need a new massage therapist”
“I’m just going to go to network meetings and find customers.”
“I’ll put some flyers and now I’ll see what happens”
… #stop

So what do we do?
… Here are a few examples of things you can do to get your business rocketing:
* Run Paid Ads (Google Adwords, SEO, Facebook).
* Use Direct Mail (Sending things to businesses, that actually get noticed).
* Start Pounding the Pavement. (Get out there and knock on doors).
* Work on Partnerships (Working with partners that have over flow work).
Take note: All of these things cost money and they cost time.
… So if you want predictability and safety in your business, you’re going to have to spend time, and spend money.
Running Ads costs money.
Sending potential clients gifts costs money.
Driving to clients costs money.
Doing spec work costs money (spec work, is when you show your talents before they pay you).
#1
… So pull your wallet out and start investing in yourself, so you speed up the process of winning; faster.
#2
Time also costs money, but the unfortunate thing is, most people don’t value their time…
And time isn’t something you’re going to get back either, so if you spend the next 2-3 years, sitting in facebook groups, waiting for customers to magically appear for you, your business is
not going to go anywhere and you’ll be full of regrets.
And think about it…

…. Business and life are so similar.
If you’re looking for the guy (or girl) of your dreams, you can’t just expect Mrs perfect to arrive into your life.
(disclaimer: it happened to me recently, but for the purpose of this story, let’s assume you’re not all this lucky).
1.) … You have to put yourself out there.
2.) … You have to get to know them.
3.) … You have to find one that’s good to you, and good for you. (and vice versa).
4.) … You have to invest a lot mentally, physically, emotionally, and some what financially, into that and see where it goes.
And the more; time, love, smiles, kindness, happiness, good vibes, you invest into that relationship, the more you will be rewarded for it and the more it will grow (for both of you).
And your business is very similar.
* Put your time into it.
* Put your soul into it.
* Put your energy into it.
* Put your money into it.

Go throw some money at some ads.
Throw some money at some new tactics.
Test that shit out and see what sticks.
Double/triple down on what works, and stop doing what doesn’t work.
I guarantee you will be rewarded for it.
Good luck!

I hope this helps those of you just waiting for things to happen.
Get out here and make things happen.
Cheers,
Paul.
