I’ve been selling online since 1998. I started Warcom at 17, grew it into a real business with a warehouse full of stock, and sold it to an ASX-listed company in 2014. A year later I founded Insiteful, a Shopify agency that has built 200 sites for Australian brands. In late 2023 Chris McLean and I started eCommerce Circle, where we’ve now coached 400+ Aussie Shopify founders. We wrote the book More Orders together. I live in Melbourne with my family, and you’ll usually find me in a black t-shirt.

I’ve been selling online since 1998.
I was 17 when I started Warcom, an online IT and networking retailer, with a goal that sounded stupid to everyone but me: a warehouse full of stock, good people, motorbikes and millions in sales a year. I hit it. By the time I sold Warcom to Shoply Limited, an ASX-listed company, in June 2014, more than 55,000 customers were on the books. I stayed on to see it through the transition.
I also spent years running marketing for other people’s brands and learned which clients I’d never work for again. In 2015 I founded Insiteful, a Shopify agency that has now built 200 sites for Australian brands.
In late 2023 Chris McLean and I started eCommerce Circle, a coaching community for Aussie Shopify founders. We’ve coached more than 400 of them since. Everything we teach runs on the More Orders Operating System™: four foundations, ten engines, a Scorecard that shows you where to start, and a Command Centre with 200+ tools. In 2026 we wrote it down in a book called More Orders.
What I believe, in short: growth is a structure problem before it’s a marketing problem, and a plan that costs you your family isn’t a plan.
I live in Melbourne with my family and my animals. I’m usually in a black t-shirt.
